Record Types

The following record types are supported.

 

A

Format: An IPv4 Address

Example: 1.1.1.1

 

AAAA

Format: An IPv6 Address

Example: 2019::1

 

CNAME

Format: A domain name (NOT terminated with a dot)

Example: example.com

 

MX

Format: [priority] [mail server host name] A priority and a domain name.

Example: 10 mx1.example.com

 

TXT

Format: A text

Example: Sample Text Here

 

NS

Format: A domain name (NOT terminated with a dot)

Example: ns1.example.com

It is not allowed to edit or remove the default NS record.

 

LOC

Format: Please refer to RFC 1876 

Example: 51 56 0.123 N 5 54 0.000 E 4.00m 1.00m 10000.00m 10.00m

 

RP

Format: [mail box (use dot to replace @)] [more-information pointer]     RFC 1183

Example: peter.example.com peter.people.example.com

peter@example.com is responsible and more information is available by querying the TXT record of peter.people.example.com.
