Recently we have received complaints from some customers that their servers were run out of traffic in very short time. We checked and fount that the servers were used for network attacks and were likely compromised.
The customers insist that their passwords were strong enough and it is not possible for brute-force attacks. After communicating with serveral customers, we found that they all had ServerSpeeder installed in their servers. We searched and learnt that this software was intended for TCP acceleration and the official source was already shutdown. There are lots of cracked version in the internet from third party source.
Therefore, we highly suggest that you stop using the software. Not only because we don't allow using cracked software in our server, but also 3rd party may cause server compromised and network attacks.
