Serveral CPU vulnerabilities (Meltdown and Spectre) have recently been published, which virtually affect most CPUs. In order to patch kernel updates to our host nodes, reboots are required.

Maintenance Windows are set as following (HKT GMT+8):
HK4 (Kwai Chung), KR1 (Seoul): 07/01/2018 23:00 - 08/01/2018 00:00
CA1, JP3(Sapporo), HK3(Kowloon): 08/01/2018 00:00 - 01:00
JP1(Tokyo), JP2(Tokyo), JP4(Osaka): 08/01/2018 10:00 - 11:00
LA1, LA2, LA3, NL1: 08/01/2018 11：00 - 12:00

Please note that:
  1. All virtual hosting and VPS services, including KVM, OpenVZ, and XEN are affected. An Email with the exact time to reboot for each host node will be sent to specific customers.
  2. Host nodes reboot typically needs 15 minutes. All VPS on the nodes will be rebooted during the update. Please make sure to set your services to auto-run to minimize the downtime.
  3. For KVM users, please also upgrade your OS to latest version to patch the fixes. For other users, no action is required from your end.
